On left: PEOPLE MOUNTAIN PEOPLE SEA! On right: my cousin in blue who drove us.(the banner wrote about protecting environment and burn less joss paper)OMG!! So squeezy and all the joss stick's smoke, make my eyes so teary.
After that we move on to Kranji's cemetary. Where my grandmother's final resting place is.
Before we move out, i took GuangYin statue and around it are little cute stone monk statue.

Second stop.
Took around 11 am not pm :D

My grandmother. There wrote our origin from FuJian-An nan. My father and my uncles & aunties went to trim the grass patch and gently touched the grass. It was abit emotional during that part.
BUT!! they saw a small dried grass patch and said :' Mother abit botak arh¬' lol
While waiting for grandma to accept and enjoy the offering, everyone was having chit-chat
under the umbrella. After the 'Seng Puay' 'divine asking', (
asking the deceased/deity through either coins or red-coloured crecenant shaped wood) proceed to burning incese paper

I ask my father the significant of sticking the coloured-paper.
It is to show that you have come and pay respect.
My aunties, they all said this time is the most number of family attending.
24!! we even have to queue up to offer joss stick.

The water represent: MY TERRITORY! :D

Bidding fare-well and clearing up the food.
Before going...

OMG! I saw my name:'傳凱' 'chuan kai'(on the most left side) craved out in tradition writing style, compilcated to write, im used to writing simplified.
My mum said, it was the tradition of Hokkien to put grandson, son and daughter-in laws, on the tomb. And the elderest will be from the right to the youngest on the left.
My father is 9th son of the family and at that time my 10th uncle's son wasn't born yet, so im the youngest.
I remebered the last time i came was when i was still in primary school and left only vague impressions. After that only my father represent us to pray.
After this annual festival/gathering, i hope that i can continue to go and pray as it is not only to pray but also more interaction with my relatives on father's side.
