Goodbye weekend again.
Week 5 is here

Just settled MCT (MicroController Technology)research, APEL2. Dont think I have done enough leh...
C programming stuffs and feels like we are surviving on our own for this subject, there is 1 teacher but so many groups so blah blah black sheep...
Still got saying that last time, got seniors paid people outside to do for them. o.o
The tendency to depend on the better ones, makes me feel why? Social loafing?Me-lazy? Me-not-good-attitude?

This semester's subject so distanced from aerospace subject and more closer to the electronic side. =.=
Still got Efund and also Efund&Sys project have not started.
Every free time after or in-between is filled with group work, make the matter worse/good the tendency to talk-cock & SOP to relieve workload. :D

Lately, the attentiveness of the lecture as a whole is dropping. Chit-chatting, iphone,ipod,psp,mp3,laptop,lecture-ponning etc.
I admit even sometime the lectures sounds like lullaby, especially those after lunch.

The best thing in life is just a simple dinner with your loved ones be it ta-pao or cooked.

I love to sleep during rainy nights!!

Once again its school time, i wont be posting a lot.

Today had course meeting.
First thing is that this semester is the most busiest semester of our poly life.
Got to agree, with YOG this year interrupting in.
Even though there is more holiday, this means our school work got squeeze.
Almost all the subject have to do group work and everything is going so fast-paced.

CK arh, it will be tempting to stone infront the books and doze off in lectures!

Secondly, LTT!!!!woohooo
some say is tough, some say is relax.
I say wait until then then say.
Only 7.8 days given for not attending the training, for what-so-ever reasons, including MC, o.o
20k training, subsidised till $250, o.o

So fast the Year 1s is in TP for about 2 weeks.
One year just zap past.
Today, Mr Ng want us to do a little flying demo to the year 1s during the glider workshop.
Ahh, last time our glider stuck in the tree and throw my shoe up the tree. Instead of hitting it, my shoe got stuck up with the glider on the Tree!!

Finally I felt what is it like to see Iron-Maiden flying around freely at her playground ,the soccer field. After putting her going through so much hell training, well our team too. Just that ecstatic feel to see it fly freely.
Hope we are able to enter the competition again, because of LTT which ends at march, while it is the competition month.

A lot of them wants to join the flying machine competition. wooo
Commitment. Lots of teams not only TP, but from other teams in Singapore, had withdrawn.
Hope the new upcoming teams will stay on Fighting!

Too much things happen this week.
I will not talk about it.
Just that we have to stand on our rights.
Think before talk.
Open eyes bigbig and see.

My family side also.

Sorry to have them worry.

Our class morale wasn't good but there's TAUPOK to cheer us up, if not we wont have the mood to laugh out loud.
Now left a few more to settle but somehow i have uneasy feeling that lingers around.
The storm will subside soon.

Right now, i just want this semester to past.
Even I'm lying down on the floor, I still have to flip myself here and there.

My screw up back really drives me crazy sometime.
And now my braces wants to join in the party.
The metal ring inside isn't attached to my molar tooth, have to avoid chewing that side..
The dentist also join in the party too, they went for a long break till today.

Morning woke up at 9am and class starts at 10am!!
Suppose to meet Nicholas at 9am, lucky he also overslept :P
Tried to get Essential Japanese, although i was lucky to meet my japanese teacher in the lift to HSS but no luck to appeal for it...
It is reserved for Diploma Certificate students under the 'cluster CDS', top 10% students of the cohort...

AirForce out of the blue, called me.
Had to go down on next Friday to do X ray on my back.
really scare now liao

Start class with Engineering Math 3(EMath 3)
AHHHH, it would be somewhere JC,Uni level.><>

Then long hours of Lectures.
Electrical Fundamentals- Its a AE subject!!!i thought this was a ENG subject, means CAAS exam!!
Electrical Fundamentals and System-GREAT! one subject covers 2 CAAS EXAM, oh GREAT!!*clap*clap*
Can see my holidays being eaten away. 3CAAS exams
my friends from ETCM will be taking FASC(Fundamental of Aeronautical Science), cos they wasn't in during sem1.1.
This means they will be having Freaking Four CAAS exams, O.O
I dozed off a lot of time during lectures, Tong Hao also :D

Great to see everyone in class again.
U901 is really a gag class.
During OrganisationCommunication(ORGCOM), all the unintented jokes sure make us laugh hard until can cry.
Now i cannot taupok le~ thanks to my wonderful back.
Muhaha, doesn't stop me from being the last one to go on top!

Wed to Fri got CCA Recruitment Drive, headache sia just for the booth.
Friday will be having AEL camp, 2Days 1Night (not the korean variety show)
After that i will be taking a trip down to Sensei's recommended chinese phyisican.
Seriously need to start treatment, sitting down long hours, can feel the sore liao.><

Physical and Mental Torture?

It sums up what i'm going through now.
Its 3.15am and in 6 hours time i will be in school.
You might i'm crazy over school re-open but WRONG!

My whole week was an roller-coaster ride.
From lowest point, i had fever.
It was just 1 day away from the 3 CAAS exams paper and killed the mood to study. To make thing worse, somehow my back sores even worst when having fever. The bed like have electrical wire, zapping my back throughout the few night to the extend I wake up finding myself in tears.

Plain torture as I have to really concentrate on studying.

'Human factor' being the first paper the easiest of all
'Air Law' & 'Basic Aerodynamic' the paper was on same day: revising for them with my body condition make me feel like a zombie.

Felt very zombie-ifed when going to aiki chalet.I was drained out and felt like i lost my soul.
To my committee you guys have worked your hearts out. Good to have arguement now.

The fever seems to flared up my lower back even till now there's this tiny pulse of electric waves running down from my back to left leg.

That probably what I have to go through for the consequences of not listening to the chinese physician advise and listening to my own body.
He said continue to go on like this, for coming years not need to wait for old, i will crying in pain when lifting up my leg to wear shorts.

I felt total souless when he told me that.
My parents had long disapprove of me of continuing martial arts when my back injury was discovered. Although verbally not said, but can feel.
One of my uncle last time young taekwondo until now the leg also will in pain.

Right now i do feel dishearted.
Seriously, this time i have screwed up my back. Or f%#ked up said by Hamzah =c

My High point.
After the CAAS exam is over, went out with my classmate to prepare Samuel's 18 birthday.
Play crazy forfeited game of drinking 1 bottle of water(0.5L) from 5.5L o.o
Got no time to upload onto facebook.
Class u901 is the bunch of people that will alway keep quiet in class, even lecturers have to say cold jokes or anything to make us make some noise. But when we play, we sure play like nobody business =D taupok lecturers was the best part of poly life!

Same old typical 9am to 6pm timetable.
I cant wait for sem 2.2 for LTT!!!!!!!!!!

Secondary school buddies outing was another spirit lift-er.
I totally feel at ease with them, cause nothing beats more than 5years in secondary school bond.
The same old 9 of us. Sing K, talk cock sing song, out till the wee nights.
Now crazy about SNSD, to the point of buying ticket if they got concert in SG.
Too bad xiao hai didn't went K. he's responsible for my snsd craze :)
As normal,sing chinese songs then now add in snsd, wwoohoo
When all of us singing SNSD songs it was damn hilarious, we hear ourselves all the deep deep voices when singing 'Oh!', 'Gee', 'Genie'.
LOL they keep laughing when i tried Taeyeon's part. hahahaha
Dinner time, came Andy with his BOTAK HEAD!!!
Keep disturb him with any opportunity, say he just got release, say he's a monk from shaolin, a shifu for chanting, luohan fish, anything to annoy him.
By the time the rest of us go NS and botak he will be the only one with hair :D
Time files when meeting with them its always during the holidays, so its every 7-8weeks a meeting.
Hope next time can go do part time job with them, sigh my this holiday always so busy >.<

Okay back to reality.
First of all I've to stop training le. for the sake of not crying when wearing pants in future.
To the freshies (if they read this)

Training is really stress-reliving, fun and also get to learn this wonderful Martial art that focus the Way of Harmony instead of force against force.
I have enjoyed these 1 year of Aikido training and i hope you guys will do.
If you guys have injuries, PLEASE don't act Hero, listen to your body.

Right now i have to seek treatment.

For the future, i just take thing as it strides, day by day.
How i wish this year quickly ends.

One year have passed and today is Good Friday.
Today is also special day, its the qing ming qie , pay respect to the deceased.
This year my paternal grandma has finally shifted together with my grandpa, from now onwards they will be side by side. Touching moment~
My cousins made a very funny comment when the monk is chanting.
The very beginning really sounds like : " jingle bell, jingle bell"
It indeed sounds alike :D

Had a wonderful class chalet and coming next wednesday,thrusday there's the sport leadership camp, :c
Since its FOC then, :)

2 weeks later will be the final holiday week and also perhaps my most hectic week.
There's aikido chalet and my CAAS exams(3 papers) plus Basic Theory Test plus medical checkup, ALL CLASH,BAAAMM.
Kind of sad, always have to sacrifice something...

Today finish watching SNSD's variety show: Hello Baby and their debut : Girls goes to school
Recommended by xiao hai and i watch when i am bored.
Their first impression to me is those typical act cute kind of group but after watching their shows.
Haha, they can be comedy group as when they play, they don't mind their idol image, just play for sake of fun and add in their sense of humour. XD

Sadly, we don't have car and the now most closest simulation to drifting got to be this.

Thursday
Finally had my aikido training, chiong the school and the kallang.
Back to normal lifestyle, drinkng a glass of milk after training.
Its been a long time as i was occupied with Iron-Maiden. kind of miss her =.=
So today returning back first day of being a Captain. o.O
So far so good, have a enthu committee and of course the Seniors.
if anyone of you guys reading this, HI!
Today receives a few good welcome present, firstly the Rain, then the proposed Judo combine training.
As we are always training outdoor, if it rain, its quite or rather really troublesome. The change of venue feel also very sian.
Then Judo wants to have combine training which Sensei disapprove which his explanation is quite true and have to agree on it.
Aikido teaching here is very strong here, what we learn is to defend and no competition stuffs.
Sensei's experience is quite a good example, which i won't share here :P

Just a share when i was in Ninja-Do days.
Everytime if there is sparring, which is one of my most excited and nervous.
There one guy very very guan lan and i wont forget.
I think his hobby is to foul play, always love to play fouls and try to not make it deliberately to the sensei.
Attacking below the belt area, the head considers foul.

So this guy after a while of normal sparring, he goes for the head/below and says 'sorry' after getting warning, &#% him!
This guy needs to taste his own medicine!
The shiok part is maybe he thinks that i wont go foul too!! haha
So using the ball of my heel, straight down from head to the face even the spectacle flew out.
Then say 'sorry' back :D hell yeah
Then the match is stopped.

So the morale of story is that fighting each other, hurts, which Aikido doesn't wants to see.
And now i'm wearing braces and i also don't want.

The word 'Judo' got me thought of another guy from Judo who joined ninja-do.
Being a Mixed Martial Art (MMA) type, the sparring can go from standing until the ground and that time i wasn't good in grappling.
Got slammed by that guy onto the hard concrete floor, i think i have post it very long time ago.

The night training @kallang was damn fun.
There are white belts from NS men which they definitely have the strength but need time on technique.
Learn new locks variant of Sankyo which can make one become sadist, its painful and enjoyable!!
Right now, I prefer going to the night on thursday than on sunday morning.
The new hall have been renovated nicely too bad cannot switch on air-con.

Wednesday
EARLY MORNING 5AM wake up and then travel bus.5 to Bukit Merah interchange, small and Ulu.
Had Air force interview plus seminar which took up the whole afternoon.
Now they changing the name of Senior Techincian to AirForce Engineer(AFE).
More than 20 people applied for this Diploma Scholarship.
A lot of people including me, asked more than 1 hour of questions.
Such as how they assign our post.
They try to post us to that is relevant to our course, preference and availability.
During the the interview, there were 2 officer, one very big build and i'm gonna pee in my pants if he were to stares at me. XD
One of them i have seen him at AirForce School and another during TP open house.
So i stepped in, he said : "Hey,you look familiar, so why AirForce?". LOL
Talk until, I've joined Aikido.
Both of them suddenly two of them go 'hhiieeyaahh'. O.O OMG its my first time having such interview and have to suppress my inner laughter (>_<)

They called before i was having training saying
I PASSED interview!!!
Next is Medical check-up and they assign on the 14 april which is the last day of Aikido chalet which also means no need to help clean up and check-out!!
WOOHOO they will kill me if they read this :D
but sian have to back the Ulu place and have my handphone locked up and maybe even have to strip for check up!! :O NOOOO

What i worry now is my spine problem.
If the medical check up says i can't, i will be at a loss, might breakdown.

I was diagnosed during my early year of secondary school day with Scoliosis.
Abnormal curve of spine. Mine from back view, 14 deg to the left making my right shoulder blade protrude a bit.
Sian arh, even the Chinese physician whom i go there to pull/push/stretch my bones/joints/back here and there, advise me to best avoid sports which can stress my back and one of it is marital arts. I still heck care until now but holding on to a limit as already now showing some signs of it.
Sometime during the night, my back sores like someone pour acid, can't bloody sleep like right now as i'm posting. >_<
As long i have a glass of milk, regular exercise,back stretching, should be okay bah.

Right now i'm still young, what if i reach certain age :x

Singapore Amazing Flying Machine 2010

Hello!
Didn't post anything these past few days.
Friday was the competition day and Saturday was the award presentation day.
This competition definitely gave a me huge boost in interest in making something that can fly.

Friday
The battleground is located at the Annexe besides science center.
The air con inside is very cold!!
Many teams seems to withdrawn which left only to about less than 20 teams.
Competitors from last year were present and their presence looks very strong.

There's Black Ace from RP flying mikrokopter too. They even have their own jacket!
NUS UAV research team this year the only team going fully autonomous which was a sight to behold, watching the little craft flying on its own without pilot interference. Sadly it only completed 3 obstacles. can't imagine how many DEG or even Master? holders are working on it.

We are in CAT D, the most difficult category.
Either Fly by video, semi- autonomous, Fully autonomous.
Each of the flying mode have different multiplier on the final score, X1, X2, X4 respectively.
The Semi mode is a grey area as it wasn't stated clearly what kind of Semi they want.
Nobody flew by video this year as it is even more difficult than Semi, in my point of view.
For semi and fully, the pilot get to see their craft. While by video, pilot will be flying through video display on TV and inside a room.

During the start of competition, we told the jugde TP is going Video.
To our surprise many teams that were flying the same MK but is in semi mode.
TP team went to clarify and the organiser were finally convinced that our MK were actually SEMI!! YAY!!
We told them that MK have central stablisation which normal RC plane/heli is unable to do so.
Whereby if you were to pull down one of its arm and release it, the MK will stable itself back.
So it seems that we didn't know this were considered semi.
Actually what the jugdes wants to see in semi craft ,is the craft at least will fly by itself and the pilot will only help steering, drop ball etc.

Everything went well for Engineering Boys, Iron-Maiden neither touch the floor nor hit anything!! Well Done , Xian DE!!
The obstacles there are made from METAL and we witness many crafts just one hit and break propellers and black hawk down...
Our first attempt, we scored 95/100, completed all obstacles but miss the BULL'S EYE and landed the outer ring!!!
We have the highest score in this round.

Murphy's Law is one big killer in this competition.
During our second attempt to fly in the afternoon, there is no video signal to the TV!!!!
Just in the morning on first attempt, the video transmission was alright.
What just went wrong? And teacher says it is the last video transmitter during the final flight practise!
Tried everything thing to make the TV display something.
All thanks to samuel, he thought of the extra video transmitter that was found in a box just in the morning, even teacher was unsure why there is a extra inside the box.hmm..

This time we miss the bull's eye by 2 rings, awww.
Black Aces scored 100/100.
NUS didn't mange to complete all but good job on getting it fully auto.

Best Presentation- GOLD
Best Performance- Bronze
Championship- 3rd place,Bronze

Sadly there is then $$$ for GOLD, but best presentation don't have $$$ just medals T.T.
This year, Black Ace 1st, Nus 2nd, we 3rd.
Happy of course, this is our first time competing with the lao jiao(old birds).
Course Manager, Mr Tang were there too.

Next Year, or rather this year October when the SAFMC 2011 challenge is announced.
Prepared for new courses and also the classic Bull's Eye target.
Hope Black Ace will compete as it will be their final year in poly and we will definitely want to have good match again.
Also NUS is able to solve their fully autonomous problems which they might the few making Fully auto in Singapore.
Maybe even stronger teams will enter this time round.

Tomorrow is the last day of flying practise.
Let hope for smooth day, today is quite a headache already.
The video transmitter today totally blacked out, have to use the final one.

Sad to say, after friday, will miss the days we spend so much time on Iron-Maiden.

My parents got delayed flight until 1am then can reach SG.

Home Alone Part 2 (Finale)

PREPARE FOR TAKE-OFF!
A massive Dogfight awaits.
Friday will be the day!

We are now going through intensive fly-by-video training.
Great thing is.
It is indoor, air-con.
Flying through Free access lab's corridor.
Very narrow to go left,right.
Good propeller sustained 1hour of slashing against the wall before breaking.

Today soldered new sets of 4 ESC, all within 1 day.
I'm still slow in soldering,sad..
Hopefully, they will be used for the next future craft and not as a replacemnt to Iron-Maiden.
Sam got a kiss from Iron-Maiden, some cuts on the leg o.O first blood.
Hope it will be the first and the last.

Maybe next year or competiton, using these esc.
We may have the craft majority made from carbon-fibre, reach a semi-autonomous flight,gps stuff.

Whenever Iron-Maiden is airborne, all i wish is she can have equal number of take-off and landings (difficult) and have least minimum impact crashes.

My family is going to come back tomorrow!!

After listening to the life-stories of my lecturers,the adults, i can't wait to have one of my own.
Such as going Around the world...O.O

Next is mine,drifting.
First get a job, a good one hopefully.
Have my own DRIFT CAR, no kidding.
Knowing how F&*^*&% expensive to have a car in Singapore.
Even it takes 10years to reach, i will take everyday as a step closer to it.
Looking how those guys in DriftGarage Singapore share their passion for drifting.
Their meet up photos just makes me go drooling :D
Ever since that day, that initial D movie came during my secondary school days.
Which makes me a fan of jay chou, then the anime then m.o.v.e.

I found my own life goal, is to DRIFT. Simple or childish or stupid it is.
Not everyone likes it.
But its just something that makes me falls in love with it.
10 years or 8years or until my other half-appear.

Hope the passion i have now, wont dies off, it seems it wont. :P
My simple wish, seems not simple at all.

First was Mazda RX-7, now is RX-8. Rotary Engines!!

Home Alone

Saturday

Woke up with very bad sore throat and slight fever,cold.
Make the matter worst, my braces is rubberband-tied throughout the night.
Can't open my mouth and the sore infection inside launch massive attack on my throat like SPARTANss!!
The whole night can't sleep well at all :c

Luckily, there's Strepsils Cool Mint. Eat it every 2 hours to kill the irrating infection.
This shows that my body needs a good rest.
Slept the whole afternoon while waiting for washing machine to finish.

My parents went to Cameran Highland in Malaysia.
My sister will be going back to stay in TP on Monday.
This means i will be alone till wednesday.
Anyway, will be busy with Iron Maiden this week.

So i'm in-charge of the house.
Luckily my mother have made us to do housework, so everything is okay.
I've become the father, the mother of the house le!

Laundry, Clean the floor, water the plants, help my father to do prayer stuff, refilling the oil lamp.

All this eats up a lot of time, especially Laundry and many thanks to the rain, have to wait longer for the clothes to dry.
Get the feeling of why my mother always flared up her temper when she do housework =P

Housework these day is not restricted to housewives only.
Even my father also do housework.
Doing it is for the family.
You want them to live comfortably.

Can't wait for Friday, where all the flying machine will have a DOGFIGHT SHOWDOWN!!
But siao, 7.30am to 7.30pm at science center ANNEX. Visitors should be free.

After the competition, maybe a 'dogfight' with AEG or just all fly together. XD

Aerial Combat between fighter aircraft or small groups of machines engaging each other in a fight to the death.

It's been quite sometime i go back training since CNY.
But it will be after competition. :p

Throat is getting better.
Finally reduced pain when talking.
Me, mei, hui yi, the 3 AAA batteries go bugis.
Since our parent all go Cameran, leaving us poor kids in singapore...
Bought some nice shirt. Standard price $10 or $12.

Journey to the WEST

Thursday

Early morning 7.30am meet up in school and do last minute check on powerpoint slides.
Iron-Maiden is back working again. :D
Headed straight down to Science Center.
Mr Ng and another lecturer, who is one of the 'investor', drove the six of us.
That day seems only for our category, CAT D, for poly & Uni.
Waiting time was very fast and it was our turn.

There were 3 main judges sitting, while four more just sitting behind listen.
We were shocked at first with 7 of them in the presentation room.
Each of them were expert in different fields of aviation,they are the veteran or 'lao jiao' old bird. so its is the best to be honest with them.
Thank goodness. They crack joke a bit, which loosen the tense atmosphere.
Lasted for 15 minutes and we even ate into the Q&A time ;D

This year is the second year this competition is held.
A lot of teams (including us) bought the same craft as the last year champion, the mikrokopter.
It is the best candidate for the completion of the course given.
Looks like this year, expect for a very TOUGH DOGFIGHT!

Went back to school and continue on C PROGRAMMING until 6pm!!
Wahh, it is considered a language.
Either you get it or you dont.
I'm stuck in-between.

A good News came.
Our team, Engineering Boys is in the top6 for best presentation award!!!
Bad news, we have to present AGAIN THE NEXT DAY!!!
Looks like no choice, we have to skip MCT test on Fri. Anyway I have little confidence in it.
Good news to me!:P

Struggle with the alien computer language and also filtering till 6pm. THEN!!
Our Course Manager suddenly wants to meet us after our MCT!!!
It was to encourage us and also help us to improve our slide as she invite our 'Effective Communication' teacher in sem1.1.
O.O
Straight after MCT went to gave them a presentation again, Mr Tang also came in.
So there were, 1 course manager, 3 lecturers discussing together with the few of us.
UNTIL 8PM, wah steady pom pi pi!

This means we cannot afford to waste everybody efforts. xp

Same thing again.
Everyone face have the same 'Knocked Out' look. :D

This time all the category is here.
This kind of national competition sure enough, top schools come compete.
You name it, you have it.
Uni,Poly,JC,Sec,Pri.

More than 2 hours of Waiting time...
Special-Op a bit here and there but still very bored, last resort, PSP.
Finally.
It was our turn to the WAITING AREA for another 30mins...
Suddenly,recevied my result via sms. dropped by 0.04 to 3.79 ><
Have push it back to 3.8 at least!!

This time round, unlike the day before.
The judges are tired.
So the whole thing is quite un-smooth.

Went to whitesand to meet the rest of class. West to East
Played Daytona or 'bumper car'

Anyway, hopefully no more calling from them saying we are in top 3 or something... and have to go back. FAT HOPE lar what am i thinking..

Our Iron Maiden is the smallest mikrokopter i've seen.

Yesterday our Iron Maiden had a worst crash EVER!!
What's more it landed right infront of us, within that few second, 3motor down with spilted propellers flying out.
Lucky no one is hurt, only our Maiden.
3batteries and while using the last one, a sudden big gust of wind blew the whole craft out of sight!!
Then can hear only the propeller cutting down all the tree leaves as it flies, next thing the bird landed straight down at us.
Heartache~
Have to ground it until fully repair.

These 3 days, Wed to Fri 9am to 6pm go school.
There's a subject call MCT(Mirco-controller techique) which needs C programme and these 3 days is to prepare us.
Thursday need to go science center presentation, then meet up aiki people in school. Looks like cannot go MCT on Thurs.

Seriously now my eye is tired.
I WANT TO FIND ONE DAY THAT I CAN SLEEP FOR 10HOURS???!!!

Came back from Darren's chalet and slept until now.

Yesterday
On flying mahcine.
EARLY morning went school as usual ;(, seriously the fatigue is building up inside.
Bought the 2 very cheap laser pointer to test whether it can be a guidance for dropping the ball. Concluded it is not very effective. :(
The bird have zero-topple,no ninja turtle. New longest flight recorded, more than 5mintues.
Felt great watching the effort put in is finally taking flight.
Radio transmission problems keep coming out. Have to depend on the the environment factors, all the bandwidth interference.
As mention in previous post, the very tok-gong camera finally gave us problems.
Teacher share his experience with his radio knowledge.
It seems that our camera has powerful frequency, that capable of "jamming" other tranmission.
At first, my evil thought came as we can turn on our camera and jam other teams.
I love Karma indeed.
Our remote control(RC control) transmission was the first victim. Headache
Went for lunch break and new problems arise, $%^# Murphy Law!!
Landing gears gave way and damaged the battery a bit and loss of ball-dropping latch.
Thanks to the team effort we spent another 3-4hours untill 6pm to get it done.
Then teacher found a solution to the radio stuff.
Went to the field test out, which was okay :D
sick right, holiday,stay in school till friday evening.

This coming week can foresee it will be more TIRING.
Having presentation to the science center people on Thursday.
Teacher will be on course,meetings and means any problem will be us solving it.

Straight after that went to costa sand resort pasir ris, not costa sand downtown! (got loss )
Darren, weihao,sam,edwin was there.
Majong few rounds, i tired until the 'bird and chicken' tiles got mixed up.
The chicken is bigger in value than bird and have to show in the beginning which i didn't.
Discard the chicken out, everyone LOL. XD
watch tv until fell asleep around 9 pm.
woke up at 1am.
jianwei,xiaohai and andy came while i was in lalaland.
tried to ton the night, trying to differentiate the SNSD members, watch movies
until 6 to 7 am, one by one until all down.
All thanks to andy's 5 songs which keep replaying LIKE lullaby.
8 guys on 4 beds, lol, like gay party. Snoring .

Woke up at 8am to find out the 5 songs still playing, LOL,very irrating le.
Checked out at 10 am and went to escape since got ticket.

Last time went in should be like sec1 or even primary six.
No more the 360 degree turn, sad.
Love only the viking ship and go-kart.
Almost all like getting boring even hunted house...
The BK there scam edwin's money, outside the meal price eg.$4.95, inside there same price but only burger. O.O
Played pool 1 hour, i blur liao, mistook the stripe ball as white ball. -.-
Went back , bath, SLEEP

Looking back the past secondarys school days from 2004 till now, this bunch of people is still here cracking jokes, guai lan-ing.
Now andy's freedom is going to end soon, going to be policemen liao. :D

Now even feel like sleeping. Feel like going training tomorrow morning~

Today flying practise is success!
Zero ninja turtle with the new configuration. Xian De's flying more and more steady.
Today tried out the setting closest to competition.
Ball servo, Video transmission all up.

Teacher made a very good investment in the video transmission. Yesterday Aeg's video transmit from covered-walkway as base to middle of field then loss transmission.
Today our one, damn solid.
Go Until the end of the opposite side of the field, still have transmission. Video view on tv is okay with loss of colouring.
STEADY ARH!!!
more practise and practise!
teacher spent until 4.30am to ensure new configuration is okay.
Right now, he can take a good rest.

Learning point: To gain something, another thing will be loss.
We want good video transmission,battery life but at the expense of heavier weight and shorter usage time.
Same compromise concept can be use in life too, truth truth.

There will be pre-MCT lesson on C programme which is compulsory during next week. However Thursday we will be having presentation at science center so not in school :p

Tomorrow night going Darren's chalet and at end of month u901 3 days chalet.
Right now my eyelid is getting heavier. sleeps, dream again :D

Just finished presentation slides for next Thursday at science center.

The course manager showed us the video he took last year. Gosh, lots of crashes and failed take-off.
Murphy law's presence is always there. gahhh.

Today(3 march)
The new configuration proves difficult in landing.
In the end have to go back the old one and start over again tomorrow.
Now left is PREPARE SPARE PARTS or even cloning another bird, means soldering time again. And more flight practise for pilot. The rest is up to lady luck.
Sunburn again after taking video and pictures of iron maiden's flight. Survives lots of flip-over (ninja turtle) when landing.
Aeg guys started the video flying. AHHHH tired....
Mr Ng is really the MAN behind all the work (_ _)

Looks like wont be going training until competition over le. T.T
Sure will sleep on the mats ^.^

Yesterday, me,Louis,Vin went to sign up Basic Theory Test(BBT). Louis forgotten to bring IC and today morning went down again to sign up. Same person at the counter, she ask: you look familiar. Surprisingly, we saw Wafy there too.

Congrats Wafy for PASSING and GETTING LICENSE!!

And Airforce finally called for interview, 24 march. ^.^

Well, this week marks the start of preparing Iron Maiden ,not only ready for flight , but competition.

Whenever we finish a problem another will just pop out. xp

Go back school like normal. Today get to eat Thai food at Short Circuit, finally :D

Everything went well. One side do powerpoint, one side flying practise, one side do camera.

Finally we went to observe how AEG ,2 teams is doing. AEL now left our team.

I went back, bath with cold water(extreme hot weather) and sleep like nobody business.

Yesterday during observation. We help the botak tree pluck out the leaves and below theres a group of pass-by and we throw the leaves down. :D they got surprised and laugh :D We up there laugh like mad

Keep forgetting to type about my braces.

Right now is almost to the final stage. What the dentist is doing is to ask me manually everyday hook the rubber band again, to align my upper and lower jaw straightly.
Hook from my upper right canine tooth diagonally to lower left canine tooth, he recommend 23 hours(minus the time when taking off for meal) which means i don't even have to open up my mouth when i band. Self inflicting pain T.T
Must persevere!!!

END OF EXAM AND HOLIDAY IS HERE!!!!

Right now left 2 weeks to flying competition and kind of spoilt the holiday mood. But 2 weeks never see Iron Maiden, hmm..

Yesterday, class bowling @ Ehub, straight after exam. Last bowled should be during damai days. Then all went up to alison's house set up mini-IR. Learning manjong-in-process, but keep playing blackjack. Found a very good spot, in the end the legendary couples enter the arena!
AHHH! I started 50cents and earn profit until more than $7, in the end left $2 profit, heart-breaker =(

Today is the 14th day of CNY. Tomorrow the 15th day is the last day and wondering if got tang yuan to eat.
Went to visit my Father's Mother's Sister, which is my grandmother's sister and my father's aunt. :D
AT Bukit Batok, took 506 express which took less than 1 hour to reach from bedok reservoir to bukit batok. She is older than me exactly 60 years old and is very joyful. Her hokkien is top-notch, even my my parents need to ask the meaning.
For me, worst still, at one side trying to understand the whole conversation, i do understand what is said but unable to say that much. :(

So, holiday is here and it time to really take a GOOD BREAK! When school starts, its chionging again.

I prefer going to school~
CK will be be going to learn driving, soon.
And is kind of nervous, coz airforce is calling again in march.

My Year 1 journey as freshie is OVER. Wow, fast.
BUT I don't want holidays, I want schooool!!
Because of Class U901, Aikido and TP itself, I've enjoyed this one year and looking forward to the new semester.

Starting from Jonathan migrating to UK (with lots of good jokes, esp.racist :P), then new classmates transferred in and now one guy withdrawing out le.
Going to miss the TAUPOK session, Hacking session and Special-OP!!!

Next academic year, Year 2, Lufthansa Techink Training(LTT) is coming at 2.2. Can't WAIT!!
New batch of year 1s coming and hopefully there will be more girls :D
Till April then, this CNY stuck inside the Study Week means left only few days more to EXAM!!

Quickly, 2 weeks go away, then no more exam and it is Flying Machine time!

Singapore Amazing Flying Machine.

This week.
Get to witness the maiden flight of our IRON-MAIDEN. named by teacher, it seems to be a rock band's name.
Now have to give all the morale and all kinds of support to Xian De, the pilot.
During practise flight, crashes is inevitable and so far 1 motor Knock-Out.

This machine is totally KICK ASS!
It can be just for flying siao-people or spyplane or even killer machine etc.
Full throttle,it can even shoot all the way up to almost to 10 stories or more that high!!
Teacher say there isin't many in SG. SP won last year with this, Tp AEL & AEG. maybe a few out there. At least it will cost you >$2000. Nice Right?

Felt proud of our team Engineering Boys and of cause, Mr Ng the MAN!
The whole experience, we get to feel how it will be like if we were to work in aerospace industry.
How EXTREMELY IMPORTANT it is to solder, screw, connect everything together as it will have immediate effect on the kopter. Likewise on real commercial aircraft, hundreds of life is in the hands of maintenance people.
Tears of Joy to see it fly after all the pain in the ass soldering.

Despite the mikrokopter being a Radio-control(RC) hobby 'toy', it is a very @#%^ expensive hobby. German technology rocks! how i wish i have the $$$ to buy one.

Straight after the exam, 2 weeks left to 15march week for the competition.
Have to go full-thrust on this period.
Hopefully the camera, most important part, arrives asap from germany....
I will not be posting videos the time being.

Maybe next TP open-house , we can demo this bird?

Woah another week passed. Upcoming week is the the final week of YEAR 1!!!!
A lot of activities this week.
Wednesday: EADS talk , a combined european aerospace company came to singapore because of air show.
THursday: Received brown belt, 4kyu. Got to work hard but it will be after exam. JIAYOU to the rest!, YOU GUYS CAN DO IT!!
Friday: Singapore Airshow 2010. Pictures uploaded to facebook. Hopefully 2012 can go again and that time can we wear LTT shirt??
Saturday: Slept like a log
Sunday: Morning training, then went to tampines buy my clothes (left me haven't buy yet)with parents and then same routine at NTUC.

AHH! This week is probably the most eventful week of Year 1.
All the good and bad come together like a package.
Still like cy mention: 'when you fell like shit, go training'. XD best quote ever.

School
After waves of PROJECTS, TEST, finally get to take a breather.
Tuesday had birthday celebration and cake smashing. When we were singing half-way to the Jan/Dec babies, 'happy birthday to you X2, Happy Birthday to *silent pause*' haha everyone laughs, don't know who to wish. There's a video of it in facebook uploaded by fauzan.
Then a week-long of 'Taupok' session!
It is everyone pin down on one guy and the victim is LOUIS. Fauzan got once too. Planned all out
It good to see the class in high spirit. Except one thing i won't talk about, I would phrase it as 'a pain in the ass' feeling.
Well, one year is going to pass and I sincerely enjoyed it.
2 weeks to go. Study week(no sch), then semester exam.
Stuffs to do: Japanese cds' role play on Tuesday morning! i got 4 roles! , 2 more test.

Got a shock after thursday training, A SHOCK!
I thought it will be like around april.
Sensei say is what grand dinner but actually it was Brown grading!! sensei seems to be very hyper after coming back from china trip, new moves etc.. (o . o)!?!
Thursday night, Friday night. The seniors gave us the run through of the grading and really. WE have to thanks them for their time,effort,nonsense stuffs. =P

In Brown syllabus: suwariwaza(those Japanese way of sitting down on knee). I think its purpose is to train the hip and hand-coordination or screw up our knee. My knee got burned from all the knee-walking and my precious leg hair around the knee is gone, now my knee have a botak patch :D
@$%^!# I just graded to Blue-gold on Nov and 2 months later; Brown?!
My bloody best record ever.
Even though I may be brown soon, I'm know myself that the 'feeling' of the techinques is still not there. Seriously la,its kind of rush.

Onto today's grading.
During that 1-hour++ grading, I try my best to conserve energy. It seems FOREVER during that 1-hour.
Maybe going to the night training straight after the school's sure have helped a lot in my stamina. Plus my every monday, small little phyiscal training.
I don't have that 'heart-coming-out from the throat' feeling during grading, Yeah!
Still I feel like a fish that is out of water,gasping for air, damn tiring.

Yesterday after school there's a talk about landing on the moon, errm felt quite sleepy.
next time got insomia, just attend a talk, will get induce to sleep in no time.
I was supposed to ask the Dr. some questions together with Thi lanka, then need to wear formal , go around the reception hall, try to talk to VIPs.
After the ICAO event(can try searching the june archive), this kind of formal function is indeed eye-opening, but right now i feel uninterested in this.(feels like have to wear a mask on the face, unless i'm very hyper about the function.if not, nah....)
Well, there are quite a lot of people there.
Then went back to find the rest.
A few of us went to hougang play basketball, quite a beri loong time never played basketball. My ring finger got swollen and now cannot bend...>.<, won't be going tmr morning training.

This week is quite a fun, maybe is after handing in all the project;finished presentation etc...
Just say is anyone's birthday, then the whole class will sing birthday song. And now 'special-op' thing.

An Engineer can do business but not the another way round. Forgotten who said that, but i feel another way round is also possible, only after training.

A bit on aikido stuff, haven't post about it for quite some time.
Recently, i found the training is getting or i it something about me?
Still i will carry on, understanding/refining what's being taught. I still have to manage my studies too. And perhaps find back the feeling i had during the start.

Wednesday is the best day!
Lovely timetable~

Only need to attened PSPS, Dfund2 lec then if no 'care group interaction' i should end school by 12noon! 9am to noon.

Despite having early release, i don't even feel like leaving school that early~~

So today had PSPS final presentation and the dfund2 lecturer's favourite phrase:'peoPLE'

Before going out, there is a notice of a upcoming study trip to China. Which I don't think I will be going and there is no Lufthansa visit. (lol, loyal supporter)

Thinking back, the Germany trip, no regrets at all. :D

Then the rest have their cds at 2pm. While i have nothing to do..

Went to tampines to top-up ez-link card and suddenly i thought of "Initial D!".

It been quite a long time, since i last played it and sometime giving oneself a mental simulation is not quite bad actually.

Going to tampines mall on weekdays is the best, not much people.

With $5, i managed to set new personal record and finally completed Tsukuba 筑波! Right now left only the last and final map, Nagao 長尾 (in chinese, literately means long tail).

The corners in Nagao seems to be pretty sharp, almost 90 degree, unlike the common curvy ones and there is dozens of them non-stop. Worst still, its gutter (drain) is big and deep enough to let the whole tyre dropped inside and instantly killing off the car's speed. How to continue to staying close to the sides without dropping into the killer gutters, is a big problem now.

Fourth week!

Last week after finishing the post, the upcoming days i was having 'running nose', nose that can run.
Worst still; while having blocked nose, my right ear got blocked too. x.x

Never use cotton bud to clean the inner ear.
I always thought i won't be that unlucky. Lucky me~ the earwax got pushed inside and experienced 'Contemporary Hearing Loss' from wed to sunday.
Had to see doctor and drop wax removal until sunday, if it is still inside, had to get it syringe out.
Now what... small ear infection due to blockage. Had to drop 'eye drop' into the ear O.o, whereas the 'ear drop' cannot be drop into the ear. (- . -)
Some lecturers' high pitch amplified by the mircophone, can inflict serious 9999damage to my right ear. Inner ear seems to be exploding any moment during that few hours.

Right now, another project, PSPS is down.
-PSPS(done) left presentation on wed.
-Aerodynamic(done) hand it up on thurs.
-Japanese role play(done) left acting it out,2weeks later?

Argh, japanese tutorial 8am!!!
i always hope the 2hours can quickly end, despite having a lot girls .esp from ams. in the class. i still find it boring.
tuesday is the longest day and there is japan lecture till 7pm~at least lecture is fun

Sch outing to RSAF school at Paya Lebar Airbase and I've decided to sign up as Aircraft Engineer/Senior Technician. During TP open house,i saw the same recruiting officer and he recognised me o.o. Well, i went to ask him some questions before we left the airbase.

Came back from AEL camp yesterday and slept until 1pm then wake up.
Get to know my friends better . Our U901 class is sure ON ,making the majority of participants.
Yesterday was my father's birthday,now living through half a century. (sounds so old)XD

Didn't went for morning training and it is a weapon training somemore!! my head was very heavy and just feel like zzzzz.
Patched up my DFund circuit, doing tutorials.

Aww man, now it seems i need 1 day per week to settle my sleep debt.

Long time no post!

Back from Germany. More than crazy 12hours of flight including transit at Dubai.
A short summary about this trip.

Aerospace visiting was once in a lifetime experience! Visited Lufthansa Frankfurt,Hamburg and Airbus manufacturing plants. I've never in my whole life ever seen so many planes and see the maintenance works which ensures the safety of the passengers.
The weather:It is autumn over there, the temperature is below 15 degree. It like living in our own fridge. There was one night in Dortmund, it dropped to 0 degree, its called the 'first frost', meaning winter is approaching.
They have a culture different from Asia, in which they are more 'open' ,their meals are mainly on potato,big servings,probably because of the weather. It will be a best thing to be able to understand German.
Oh, the girls there are beautiful~:D

This week is school re-opening and now is semester 2!
Went back school on Tuesday and many thanks to Japan CDS which starts at 8am.
I had a jet-lag the whole day. Germany is 6hours behind Singapore, i just felt like sleeping the whole day.
A 'clear-rust' week for me, remembering back the stuff from last semester.
Now there's all-new subjects, new additions of classmates.

Ahhhh, can't wait for Year 2.2 for LTT!! So MOTIVATED after coming back!

So, after that went to play pool again, 1 round then went back home.

CAAS exam revision today by mr tham.
It more like, 'HI! long time no see everyone, lets talk about holidays. haha =D'
Been quite some time sitting in the cold LT.
Go through many sets of paper remembered by those who have took it before.
Some questions, we even never studied before!! O.o
50 MCQ, 1 hours. So 1minute for each question.
It seems that the school questions are more 'killer' than CAAS' questions.
Oh well, to confirm it just wait for wednesday.

After that went to meet my mother at tampines, then go to the bank, buy stuffs for oversea trip.

Then went up ah ma house.
Fall asleep even after drinking kopi-o =D

Today, Journey to the West!
Went Jurong to attend the 'Singapore Amazing Flying Machine 2010' competition briefing at Science Centre.
Team 'Engineering Boys' or 'engine boys'
Consist, our cheong(leader) Xian De, Samuel, Xiang Yu and one U902 guy and me.
Will try to get know the guy, but today he didn't attend.

Everyone got free pass and visited the centre.
Its been a very long time since the last time i went there, primary school?
The exhibits there are always changing, however there will be a few familiar ones, like the 'shocking chair'.
Oh, there also the Science of F1 exhibition!
Tried out the SG Grand Prix simulator, not really simulator, when reaching the corners, it will auto-brake for you...

Yesterday, badminton, initial d, then go safra play pool.
Yoshida and Guan hong went off first.
Then me and xian de continued and he taught me to play billiard.
Seriously, both of the games require keeping cool.
Billiard is more challenging, time consuming, small pockets, bigger table. Good thing is it a good training.
Both of us at played from 4pm to around 8 plus, play until keep losing concentration.

Yesterday
Had a haircut, no more botak.
I tried a new one, side botak. However, due to my head size, argh spoiled it.
Then followed the hairdresser's recomendation.

A funny incident happen.
The lady boss ask me when is my end of year,EOY, exam...
I replied:'errm..i'm in poly, currently having holiday.'
'oh ya hor, sorry =).'
Actually during dental session, the denist ask me the same thing or worse, 'sec what'?

Currently i like short hair-do, coz whenever the wind blows, there's a ticklish feeling around the sides. =D

Around 6.20pm, felt the tremors from sumatra.
I thought it was the haze make me dizzy. OR i listen to the bass from the subwoofer too long.
Though it was the first time i felt, but this shows lives is lost.

Today
Finally opened up 'FUNDAMENTAL OF AERONAUTICAL SCIENCE' "FASC" notes to study.
ItS TOTALLY PURE PHYSIC PLUS MORE IN-DEPTH SUBJECT.
So, exam in the middle of holiday you might ask.

Well, this industry, diploma is okay, but in order to maintain aircraft, you'll need licence to do so.
Need to pass 12 module 'subjects' and 2 years of experiece to able to obtain the
AIRCRAFT MAINTENCE LICENCE, AML.
Happy to be in TP, so far our school have this programme. Study le, take exam=shorter time to get license.

Conducted by CAAS. Got many venue, my one at changi north at aerospace training center. My friend go terminal 2 take exam, siok arh?

Passing is 75%!!!
i got B+for fasc mean just pass!! ROOOARRR!!
Of course got stress one!!!

Install a new subwoofer to computer. Actually, its not new at all, 6years old. It came together with this HP computer as a free gift, it just that we didn't opened it up, now that the HP speaker left side is getting softer so considering a retirement for it.

Let see, this computer have gone some changes over these years, graphic card, monitor and now Speaker.

Many Thanks to yesterday training, it was a killer.

Wake up at 12.30, had to pull myself to wake up !

My house whole area so noisy like construction site, one side life upgrading, directly downstairs building shelter plus resurfacing the concrete path!!!!

Yesterday didn't go night training, it was nicholas lim's birthday. Something amusing is that nobody have a lighter, maybe this show that no one smokes.
Actually yesterday I can give the training a miss, because a fengshui master came to my house.
He sees our chinese name and can give advice to us.
Regardless superstitious or what, i find these stuffs intriguing.

Been craving for chicken rice from kopitiam these few days.
I shall go and eat it, satisfying my craving!

Its crazy to post at this time.
Because I've watch finished the anime : "Wangan Midnight"!!
It is from the same producer of Initial D anime series.
Good Job 'OB Planning'!!

Now that i've watched finish both series. Both series are good and realistic.
Wangan Midnight focus on highway racing, tuning cars, hitting over 300km/h.
Initial D focus on mountain passes, racing strategy, taking corners.

HIHI! GOOD MORNING!

Early morning went to school to take our AEL shirt.

It looks like Lufthansa's shirt, logo on left. White polo.
Then came back home and continue to sleep until just now.
Later noon time going to bedok interchange meeting my secondary school buddies. Can't wait to go AMK there and play Left 4 Dead.

Yesterday was supposed to play badminton with xian de and the rest. When i was on the was to tampines, he called and said cancelled. =.= Great.

Next thing that i thought of, GO TIMEZONE!! ^.^

There still $5 inside the card. SO its INITAL D time!

Saw Jing Kai playing maximum tune, didn't greet him, since he's there concentrating running on the highways.

Good thing about TZ is top up no GST.

Tampine's Inital D is the most alive so far i've seen. Even weekdays while pri/sec studying time, i still have to 'queue'.

I warm-up by playing time attack on Happo map and surprisingly Set new record.
Got one malay guy beside me ask :'Bro, you want to race?"and IT WAS THE FIRST RACE I HAVE!

First race
I chose happo again, i didn't show mercy and go all out. Because the AI characters in story mode is so difficult to win, even the first one i lose like %^&.

OMG, i won him ahead of him by +200m, 'thrashing'.
Second race

He chose Tsukuba, the final two new map and i haven't run on it before! That map have so much nice scenery, (damn initial d is pushing a lot to realistic). The moment u enjoy the view, BANG!

It have a lot of high speed-section whereby my RX8 can go into 6th gear.
In the end, i just follow behind his GTR, lose by 17m.

Shake hands with him and i continue to finish clearing Happo as finally i got confidence.

Today was a flying awesome day.
9am to 5pm had a Flight simulator course at TP.
The course was conducted by our own new AEL club team, G-Force.
New course, new club,new lab for our course(?)
The seniors done a great job and they are very funny.
AND pizza for lunch O.O

The flight simulator is a computer software and it was so much fun than any LAN games.
Used Logitech's joystick to fly the plane and can play multiplayer like LAN. Theres a wide selection of different planes from the "Wright Brothers" to "Boeing".
The seniors conduct the intro to aircraft instrument and techinques to fly.
The final part was "Air-race" & "indiviual landing"
First one, fly around hong kong airport going different checkpoint
. DO NOT ANY HOW FOLLOW the other planes. LOL either overshot the checkpoint or go wrong.
Me and tong hao win the race. Won $10 starbuck voucher.
Last one was damn funny. Without 'crash' mode on, you can do any suicide stunts and 'bounce' on the runway rather than 'crash'. Then when everyone take turns to land, on the projector screen, theres everyone flying around the airport either practising landing or DISTRACTING you! :D
Althought hand tired controlling the plane, but still fun!!!

Tomorrow playing badminton with classmate at tampines sports hall.
Wednesday going take course T-shirt at 8.30am!! i want to sleepzzzzz.

Morning went to pray my aunt. It was the 21day or 三七(san qi) from the day she left.

That special day was to move her tablet up to her final resting spot.

So that's reality of life, in the end we will turn to ashes or nutrients for plants.

Afternoon, accompanied my meimei to Teamsek Design school's Tea Party.

She was accepted from the DPA scheme.

NOOOOoooOOO! She so fast going poly!!

While she went for her tea party, Ck went to the library.

Now holiday, the school is quiet and very few people in library

Again, my favourite spot, level 8.

went to look for the books related to the coming semseter's subject.

Especially the two aerospace subject(AE): Basic aerodynamic and Aviation Legislation & Human Factor.

HIHI~
Slept like a LOG untill 1 pm.
Yesterday came back from the aikido family day and combine training.
The 2 day experience was awesome.

Day 1 was taught by sensei Harry, sensei's sensei.
His training was about cultivating our mind on the principle of aikido, not much on techniques.
Such as, people tends to be agressive or ego-istic and how we ourself should go about correcting our thinking and face them.
Woah~~
Then under the torching sun, we train on the very big canvas on the grass.
Followed by the weapon training, luckily the sun was setting.
First the bokken(wooden sword), then the Jo (wooden long stick). All on their basic stance.
Me and a few others went outside the canvas and train on the grass.
Heck, it was awesome, bare-footed on the cooling grass having weapon training.
My family was there too having pincic with my cousin family. Thanks for the support!

More than 3 hours of training from 4pm until sunset. A lot of people taking a stroll along the park must be surprise to see a big group of people learning martial art.

The Night was fun, walked to downtown with the tp family. While at e-hub we were told that day was sensei's birthday! OMG biggest surprise!
We all went to buy Choya, a BIG birthday(written well-wishes) card for sensei.
The rest of the family went back to the bungalow, some went home.
I tagged along with the guys from my batch, gavin & gang to play LAN at eilas mall.
Seriously, i'm not good with online games..learnt how to play DOTA a bit still blurr, but thanks a lot.
Went back to the bungalow and went out the park with the rest that didn't sleep.
Slept at 4 and woke up at 5.30am, sandy waking up everyone.

Day 2, training under the moonlight till sun rise.
Train train train.
Washing up the canvas was fun man.
Sandy: "Okay, do the wave". Hamzah and the rest *waves hand* at sandy. XD
Finally packed up and watched slumdog millionaire and doze off till check out time.
AND BALEK KAMPONG!

This is the first time, i experienced a martial art group that is like a big family and have this kind of event.
And having parent support was the greatest thing, i feel it was different from the past, towards a better one.
Last time was a past story. Now is what matters.

Today went to circuit road to treat my neck pain. The physician pull my neck here and there ><
The bones at my neck shifted a bit when i was sleeping. Aww..

Yesterday went back to damai.
TP OWNZ! so many of us in TP.
My secondary friend in other poly was 'trap' by us.
After damai, went to Ang Mo Kio waited for edwin finishing his exam in NYP.(TP RAWKS)^.^
Ate steamboat, play LAN out of boredom.
Became the 'lao da' as im only the one wearing white...err..=.=

Madam yani, she's pregnant!

But all the 'torture' redoing those 10 year series like mad, paid off.
Well, she took over us only in sec4, and many of our sec3 result was like shit.
My amath was ungraded during sec3 final and i was thinking whether did i choose correctly during sec2. Then here comes Mrs oon, giving us the option of dropping or continue. Giving us a serious thought on our future.

Today is only the first day of holiday and I feel so bored already~

Woke up at afternoon 1 o'clock, just sleeeeep like a log.

Thursday night training at Kolam Ayer CC seems to be moving on to more advance techniques. I guess that's the cycle, next year new batch comes in then start over from basic, that's good isn't.

Well, today had slamming for warm-ups (what?!)
then kotaegashi(wrist-turning)（返手摔）( fan shou shuai)
followed by Jujigarami
(crossing ur opponent arm, like the chinese character or kanji for 'ten') (十字絞) (si zi jiao)

After training,eat-talk-drink.

I hate air-con seriously, the exam room temperature is almost like around 20 Celsius.

Waited for my turn from 12 -1pm till I doze off at times.

LUCKY NO SCREW IS NEEDED!!!phew~

There is this problematic tooth. (located bottom jaw, left side last one, not wisdom tooth, i dont have it 'yet'.)
Only half appear, the other half is sink down in my gum.

Solution(s): use the normal braces method to pull it up. OR faster way is to screw into my gum and tied the teeth to it(SIAO,that is madness)

Conclusion: the tooth is already half-way up! whee!
My row of teeth at bottom jaw is shifted inside. The top jaw can cover over the lower one.
Last time is the reverse.

1 week didnt go for training.

LIFE & DEATH

just recevied 2 calls.
1st was in the morning, my 3rd uncle was finding my father, his mother-in-law passed away.
2nd... my aunt(mother side) passed away. 2hours ago. She has battled cancer for many years. Last week she was sent to hospice, so you see everyone is prepared.
She was married over from hainan island for just less than 10 years and then life has prepared this for her.
My grandma and uncle gonna have the most impact, now that the home have one person gone.

im now feeling empty, sad, empty.

Tonight, going up to my grandma house

Every minute, every seconds, life is both gone and born.

Dfund lab test, i was in 2nd shift. only in sch from 10am-12noon.
During CKT lec, lecturer got fed up, ended at 11.30am. Got pre-warned, for future, just walk out,end session.

WHY? doshite?

TALKTALKTALK...plus people skipping lecture.

The lecture is the last period and people is surely switching into weekend mood.

BUT, almost all lecture, CKT.DFUND.FASC.EMath. The lecturers are all reaching their tipping point!

Can't just everyone have the courtesy and right attitude towards learning?

This has been going on for many weeks.

There's people trying to learn here, GET OUT if you want to talk.

Visiting Lufthansa( a German airline company, they had a training centre here in TP, going in year2.2)

Their training centre,hangar, Germany historic site, holocaust stuff.

Germany is one of the countries that i want to visit.Why?

Studied History during secondary school days 'Berlin wall' and of cause 'Hitler'.

Their engineering skill is imba.

I've overcomed my fear of doing 'kotegashi'(wrist turning?) slam, well wrist wont get twist at all so...TIME to Perfect slamming!

Whereby impact 'thump' sound onto the mat is minimize. Too loud impact, dosen't sound good to me, imagine slamming onto floor.

According to newton's 3rd law:Object exert force on second object, second object exerts equal force back.(revising FASC)XD gosh like a geek~

Well, in aikido we learnt to slam and breakfall correctly.

Week 12 ended on a nice note.

Why?

I happen to meet many friends from primary school, secondary school.

primary school was yi liang, at bus stop.

secondary school was wei hao (good bruudda). Very paiseh~ because when i met him, i ask him to help me buy lunch since there's a long queue Xp. We now rarely met each other although in the same engine school, all busy.

Yesterday, went to ubi to meet my junior in BB. Today they are going to be Founder's men!

Time files~they were only sec1 when i was in BB. (i feel so old)*coughs*

Sebastian came down too, he is also another good brother, although after sec3 we were in different class, because of BB we can continue to keep in touch.

Woke up 7am and the Sun is Pink colour! How nice~

Its week 12 of school!
Today no apel lesson so ended at 12. Study 3hours only.

During FASC lecture, Dr ven gave us a 'lecture' for being noisy.
Well its true, term-test result doesn't mean semester is the same. dont get yaya~papaya with it.
Comparing poly to jc standard of learning, we are behind them. If in uni, we definately will be grasping for breath, provided we dont work hard now.
Saw before the difference of JC math question and Poly math question.
In poly, good thing is you get to apply the theory onto practical during labs.which i like(tomorrow) Unsure about jc.

Had lunch with Emath2 guys, they can play bridge and eat at same time, propro..
Then went with Farid to library to do FASC project due week 15/16...
ranting: why from wednesday onwards the air-con is sooo cold????now can't live without jacket already arh!

Okay,I guess i have found a place in library that i like the most. Its on level8 at a corner with all Aerospace books and a good over-view of the reservior and can even see damai (the roof...).

At first, i felt: sian, project...*take a nap*

However, when i started reading about the landing of a plane, gosh, i suddenly got so engrossed with it :ireadreadread..notedown..notedown... time files to 3pm, until farid keep pestering me to go.
Now, ck seems to be interested in aerodynamics after researching it for project. XD

Yeasha! My favourite day is here! Why?
Getting blue belt and the girls are gonna wear HAKAMA. we guys gets to envy only, but after 4years *evil grin* Black Hakama!
Althought its a long-day, start at 9am, end at 5pm. Immediately go AIKIDO training to 7.30pm++maybe 2nd round training at kallang till 10pm.
Its worth it.

To the body, its a form of exercise, i loss 2kg~
To the mind, to me its like mediating, putting the techniques aside, the concept of aikido to me is deep and i feel i can take a life-time to understand it.
Maybe till sensei's age or even Sensei Harry(sensei's sensei) =P

Thinking back 12weeks ago.

How fast time goes, during 1st training we were afraid to roll. Now, everyone can even do obstacles!
And the bond we forge together, its like a family =)

I love drinking milk after training days. ~.~

Still have to finish up FASC Tutorial!!
I like the labs and dread TUTORIAL. OMG every TUESDAY, sit in the 'FRIDGE' for 2 hours plus the tutor always tries to crack a cold joke, which is those un-laughable kind.
It only when some guys in my class tries fake laughing, then the whole class laughs.
Can't wait for the clock to fly to 5pm...
Then Thursday!!

IN Less than 12 hours, it will be 6kyu(blue) belt grading!!

Aikido grading is totally different from other matrial arts.
Examples: no patterns to learn, there's only weapon kata(forms) to learn for black belt(2kyu & above?)

Tested will be:
Irimi0nage (entering throw) (my favourite)
Shiho-nage (Four-direction throw)
Tenchi-nage(Heaven&Earth throw)
Ikkyo(First teaching/lock)

Saturday
Around noon, there was some traditional malay music being played at the void deck,at first i thought it was wedding cremony. However, it lasted very long and music it very different from wedding.
Looked down from window at the small field and for the first time i have never seen before this.
There were people wearing tradition malay costume(uncertain)(seems to be from indonesia) , some were holding on to a whip and whipping it the floor and a few guys were riding on a 'horse'(uncertain) and they were in a state of Trance.
Their reaction seems to follow the tensity of the music, fast tempo+louder drum=bigger reaction. My family went downstairs to see what's going on. My mom asked a malay woman and she said 'potong':'cut' in malay(uncertain). So it was a circumcision ritual.
One guy on the horse suddenly rush pass us and went straight into the crowd. My parent went back first, and i thought of staying to watch, THEN, another guy rush out of the boundary.
So for safety, sis and i went back up home and view from 7th floor staircase.
The ritual last for the whole day till around 9pm.

When the music is being played, the whole place feels like 'Kampong Jalan Damai'. I think this is the most liveliest day since living here past 14 years.

I guess only in Singapore you will have a void deck that can hold: weddings , carnivals, funerals and much more.That's the culture.

Week 10 of school has ended.
Got back term-test result, quite satisfied but i feel that i can improve more.=D
4 subjects:
Fundamental of Aeronautical Science(FASC):A
Engineering Math 1(EMath1):A
Circuit Analysis(CKT):A
Digital Fundamental(DFund):B+

Pay attention to Lectures and do tutorial homework should be okay. Since the questions are all based on tutorial homework.
No wonder many seniors says that, Year 1 starting is very easy,then the studying will starts to get more difficult. So avoid slacking~

I like how my current semester timetable goes.
Longest days is Tue&Thur(2,4), almost whole day in school.
Shortest days is mon,wed,fri.(1,3,5), maximum only 4hr.
Monday starts at 12noon then tues 10am.
Wed to Fri starts at 9am.

Well,that's how now my life goes.
Studying,joke around,play Patapon2 like drug addict, AIKIDO!!
Can't wait for GRADING!!!><

HELLO~!
Finally feel like posting today. Every week passed so fast and now i'm in poly for a month already!
Okay, today is Friday and to me is the slackiest day, 9am to 12.
Had Digital fundamental(DFUND) lab, totally dont understand a single thing,maybe i was still sleepy, yesterday reach home about 11.30pm after training.
Then 1 hr Circuit lec, FINISH~
Went to have lunch with the guys from my class at Design. 'breach' as always, i very lousy in playing all these cards, i only know 'tai-ti' and '21point' skill also not so good~~
Guan rui, wen xing, guan hong and me later went to Free Access Lab. Only a handful of people in there, either doing indiviual or group work. Vincent, Johnathan and Mr Tang (care-person or 'form-teacher') was already inside.
Finally CK knew what the hell the morning lab was about.Manage to get the truth table, the LEDs to light up correctly.HAPPY=D
Also have to thank Mr Tang for explaining .

WED was the Graduation for my neighbour,Shi Yee. She is like my 'jiejie' ,older sis. Me and my sis has been childhood friend with her since young when we moved in.
Since her parents were working, she got free tickets.
I attended with her Best-fren,Shawn[who always promote his design sch western food=D] and another fren Shawn(lol)
After ceremony, CK and Shawn became photographer, he is very professional in taking pictures one. CK is help shi yee take pic one~
Her friends keep calling me 'KaiKai', as how ShiYee call me.
Feel so weird and funny sia~ Only my family use that way to call me.
My Friends just go : CK, or my name.

Thursday, favourite day of the week.
WHY? AIKIDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!(>.<)!!!!! Started going double training: Thursday(sch) and Sunday(Kolam Ayer, kallang). Tuesday(Geylang Serai): leaving it for holidays. Since thur training at sch, the space is small and can learn a bit. Sunday, space is bigger, more senior& black belts, able to learn more from them.Can like revise what i learn from Thur. This week training, first time RAIN!!! We trained maybe about an hour ,was practising Ikkyo(1st lock) with edwin. AND sudden downpour came. The seniors first reaction:"KEEP THE MATS!!!BRING TO SHELTHER" The mats is most important for training, if too wet, it will stink for next training~have to give it sun-tanning So i later went to kallang dojo(optional) with the family. Sensei(teacher in japanese) ,revise the movements (Irimi&Tenkan).
Later on, the SLAM. whooss~ this is the part where you have to learn to fall safety if someone use big force or slams you.
It is like front roll to me, but is in the air. Tried with Ruby(founder of TPaikido), few times bad landing because not use to it. Result:CK's right arm currently feel pain if exert strength, right now is not as bad as morning.
I guess just like front roll, do many times to get it right and will be able to fall correctly=D
At that time, i feel excited and a bit scare hence my body is stiff results in bad landing.
Seriously, i think i have found a martial art that is so different compare to Ninjado. In this art,You have to relax both mind and body.
Last time i join ninjado is for the sake of fighting.
Right now is how to counter an attack.
I hope i can continue this for as long as possible because i really feel the difference and there's something that makes me love it.

Term-test coming up and brace tightening too. Its on sunday, going to miss one training =(

Finally now it is raining! The weather damn hot these few weeks.

Today, woke up and my throat is a bit sore... Tomorrow's presentation hopefully can just breeze through.

Week 1 of school ended so fast.

I enjoy alot in this new class and so fast got blog already! Sad thing is, there's presentation, a short one due tomorrow. My neighbour whom just graduated from TP , said: "poly life is is like that, alot presentation".

There was CCA exhibition and i feel like going back to learn martial arts again. Since right now i'm having braces, to play safe i better avoid those with punches.Therefore i choose Aikido, more focus on hand locks and my favourite: weapon training! They called yesterday if i want to join, have to go and pay the fees at SDC block on Thursday. ( CAN'T WAIT!!)

Yesterday was the last lesson for Japanese stage 2, the next stage starts 2 weeks later. I guess i'm not going to continue, but i have his tel no. for future.

Finally my grandma's work has rush finished, i today gave a off day to myself by waking up at 11am !!
Around noon , my mum came back from work

Sigh¬ 1st April everyone's defend system automatic 'ON'

Earlier on, after watching 'The Price is Right'(crazy show). My mum went out to study for her work, left me alone in the house.
While doing housework, my ah ma suddenly called up , saying her second cordless phone spolit and summon me immediately. Finally can cycle to her house again, which i loved the most.
2 ways, long way and short way. Short way will be by telok kurau pri then to the car park. My fav long way: cycle across to opposite my block , there's a temple, beside it is a long slope down to the park connnector to petal garden. The speed rushing down is damn shiok but safety first!

Sunday, i went out with my father to pray and pay respect to my paternal Grandparents.
6.30am woke up and then 8am my cousin came to drive us to sing ming road.

Sing Ming road.. during 2007 nov and dec after N-level , i went there to work part-time at a taximeter company. GOSH! i didn't knew behind the industry area, the Bright Hill （光明山） is located behind it.
The whole hill is full of temples and call connected with each other.
When i meet with my family, its like a mini-CNY gathering!!
First stop: We went to pray our grandfather

There wrote our origin from FuJian-An nan. My father and my uncles & aunties went to trim the grass patch and gently touched the grass. It was abit emotional during that part.

It is to show that you have come and pay respect.

My aunties, they all said this time is the most number of family attending.

OMG! I saw my name:'傳凱' 'chuan kai'(on the most left side) craved out in tradition writing style, compilcated to write, im used to writing simplified.

My mum said, it was the tradition of Hokkien to put grandson, son and daughter-in laws, on the tomb.And the elderest will be from the right to the youngest on the left.

My father is 9th son of the family and at that time my 10th uncle's son wasn't born yet, so im the youngest.

I remebered the last time i came was when i was still in primary school and left only vague impressions. After that only my father represent us to pray.

After this annual festival/gathering, i hope that i can continue to go and pray as it is not only to pray but also more interaction with my relatives on father's side.

HELL-O!! so long never post.
Just finished my japanese homework!! Long time no interact with 'homework'
Have to practise writing THE~ "HIRAGANA" it is like the alphabet for japanese language. It is the tradition form of writing, there's still "KANJI" "KATAKANA".

Tuesday: Finally can rest a day,watched 'Initial D Battle Stage 2' , since i haven't watched it yet (when doing things we like,time files!)
My mom called me to go grandma house to finish lunch for them, since i haven't eat yet(it was around 3pm) and carry stuff back home. I didn't even notice the time, those races managed to keep me glue to my seat~

Konban wa! GOod evening!
Today is the last day of Feb, 1 more month++ to poly!!!!>.<
The weather came almost the right time., why did it came at the right time?
My family and relatives were having dinner at a malay restaurant(opposite KFC at the market). It was the second time we are having there as the food were simply delicious, especially the 'oatmeal prawn'*faints*
The business seems to be getter better(judging from the tables that were reserved), so we ate outside the shelther of the restaurant. It drizzle a while before we came, so we took the risk.
TOo bad~ by the time around 7pm++, the dinner is almost finished and just then the HEAVYPOUR came.(and still raining even as i type) Everyone first reaction was to: 'MOVE ALL THE DISHES TO SHELTHER!!!',moved to a reserved table, heck care~since they haven't come yet.
I heng~heng~ ate the prawn just before the rain came and that was my final bite for dinner.Unfortnately, my relatives have to finish their remaining dishes.

Went back to grandma house to take things and my bicycle. I was prepared to cycle back since it was drizzling at that time, to my horror, it rain heavily again!! Since i'm already at the bus stop, just cycle in the rain back home. It was my first time cycling in heavy rain, distance covered: 'a bus stop away length', but it just feel damn shiok.

Just read finish naruto's new chapter.
OMG! hinata finally confessed to naruto of her dont know how many years of affection+admiration! Sad to say, currently kishi(the author) probably loves killing off characthers. even Kakashi seems to be dead or..?
Poor hinata wasn't spare and the grandma frog too. hope they wont die so soon.
Best of all, Naruto's 6th tail form is released, with now kyuubi's bones(the nine-tail fox) sticking out from every limbs of naruto.(ouch) so damn diffcult to draw!

The enrolment is very complicated~especially the financial part, tertiary fee is about tenfold the amount of secondary school fees!! I got to study hard when school starts~play hard also :D

Short summary for Yesterday
It was fun despite the downpour. The paintball is postponed to 9 mar(no rain pls).
Total people went was 11 and 1 didnt came.
Went to bugis with them to eat steamboat, opposite shaw tower. Woot~great appetite, ate around 3 plates of sliced beef+lamb+pork meat, some together with twee dee and brian.
Then head on to suntec arcade, since last went was after the last paper of O level!(^^). Feel damn great playing during weekdays night when majority have school or work the next day, no need to squeeze around or wait for people to go.

Tomorrow, sam,chang jie,wei hao coming over to print the enrolment form and go to SATA @ chai chee for medical checkup. I feel that tomorrow will rain again......

And a week is gone
The whole week:
Was busy helping my grandma's work, she is in her golden age but she's the type who like to keep working. I felt that being old doesn't mean you can't do what you want to do.
It take skills to be able to work fast and precise.It is like working in a small-scale factory but is in the flat. I hammered my middle finger(careless), fortunately no bruises. Right now, i'm alright with it.
It's about folding the files for(eg.hospital,police),hammering eyelets into holes,pass a string through it and finally tied a knot/ribbon. Easy it may seems(imagine 10,000) 0.0

Yesterday went to Sengkang CC to apply Japanese Basic Stage2,since not many student wish to continue at Eunos CC. However there will be a new Stage 1 class at Eunos CC starting March.(Free ad!!)The teacher is japanese, his teaching is fun and i've learned lots of their culture.

Okay, about today.
Finally received the enrollment package from TP and i will be settling it on thursday. Requires medical check-up *facepalm*.
A month++ more before POLY LIFE!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow, going out with jian wei and gang to play PAINTBALL~

Today, housework was my main activity since i woke up.
Afternoon went to the market to help my mum carry all the kiam back home.
However, before we head back, we went to Mac ...
When i was going to order, the staff say can wait for 10min to 12pm if want to save some money,The 12-2 lunch offer. Since we are not hungry yet ,we wait and i thought of the mac ad recently. where 2 guys stand outside and wait for 12pm before going in(eh can go inside chop place right?)
Returned home, i continue finishing housework and started using computer .

Tomorrow going to my grandma house to help her work.
THAT MEANS 宅男 FOR A WEEK IS GONING TO END!!

Going to cycle to ahma house tomorrow morning 8+ (shiok arh)
Will be back around 6+
